Data rights
You can view, export, or delete your personal memory data from your settings.
Memory retention
Choose how long Relay remembers. Friend keeps memory for 6 months; Soulmate keeps long-term memory while your subscription is active.
Information collected
Relay collects information you provide directly and information created through your use of the service, including:
- Account information: Name, email address, and login credentials.
- Personal memory: Details you ask Relay to remember, such as preferences, plans, interests, routines, and important context.
- Usage data: Interactions with Relay, technical logs, and device information used to improve reliability and performance.
Memory-specific privacy
Relay offers different memory modes so you can choose the level of continuity that feels right for you.
6-month retention
Memory is retained for 6 months to provide helpful context, then automatically deleted after 6 months of inactivity.
Long-term memory
Relay maintains long-term personal memory while your subscription is active, unless you manually delete it or close your account.
Data protection and encryption
We use security measures designed to protect your personal memory, including:
Encryption in transit and at rest
Local-first storage where available
Third-party disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your memories to build advertising profiles. We only share data with trusted service providers when needed to operate Relay, and they are required to protect it.
